Global Missions

When we look at our world, we need to see the faces behind the news reports and statistics. God actively cares about all of His creation, but He chooses to work through His people who have been charged to carry out His mission of hope, healing and transformation. We are God’s hands to comfort a hurting world.

Salvation Army congregations have an important role in supporting Partners in Mission. This annual fundraising campaign provides the necessary money to carry out the ministry of The Salvation Army worldwide. These funds ensure that the Army continues to be a beacon of hope in countries devastated by poverty, illness and natural disasters – countries where much of the population lives on less than $2 a day.

At TSAHope our congregation has set of goal to raise $3,000 for the 2017 Focus: Sri Lanka Territory and the Germany, Lithuania and Poland Territory through our
Jars of Change campaign. Empty jars are taken home and filled with change that we might otherwise use for our daily coffee, take-out meal or shopping splurge – an act of “self-denial.” Jars are available at each Sunday Gathering, 10 am at Terry Fox Public School in Ajax. Thank-you in advance to all who are participating! Praying God will use these funds to further His Kingdom through The Salvation Army’s ministries. We are ONE Army.
